Title: Staff Mechanical Engineer
Location: East Syracuse, NY
Onsite: 4 days a week onsite, 1 day remote
Duration: Permanent, direct hire
Salary: $140k-$160k + custom relo package
Must Haves:
- 4+ years in a mechanical or systems engineer role (could be flexible with less years of experience, however salary would be lower!)
- Focused on design of heat exchangers and thermodynamic systems
- Experience with a modeling software such as MATLAB, EES, etc.
- Background leading projects/new initiatives/expertise
- Technical comparisons
- Predictive capabilities
- Ability to drive continuous improvement in methods/tools for heat exchangers
- Bachelors Degree
Day to Day:
Our client is looking for 2 high-level Mechanical Engineers to sit in Syracuse, NY to lead technology development and capability transfer. Main responsibilities include: leading technology programs focused on heat exchangers, identifying innovation opportunities that improve our client's products, educating cross-functional teams to ensure successful technology adoption, and training more Jr. engineers on modeling and new software. True designing with heat transfer and thermodynamics.
